Charles Rennie Mackintosh, 1868-1928, famous architect, artist, icon. Born the 4th of 11 children in Glasgow. He spent his childhood years as a self conscious loner. His unique talent shows when you view some of Mackintosh's outstanding commissions including the famous Glasgow School of Art. It is only since Charles Rennie Mackintosh's death that his innovative, futuristic designs have been widely recognised, raising him to genius status.
