Caithness Glass, established in Wick in the far north of Scotland in 1961 by the late Robin Sinclair, looked to the beautiful Scottish landscape with its warm peaty tones, purple heather, golden sunsets and the grey blue of the lochs for colour inspiration. Colin Terris, who arrived in 1968 that saw the potential for Caithness to start producing the paperweights that have earned the company a worldwide reputation for their superb quality.
